Then join us as soon as possible as a Technician for Power Supply Systems in the Medium Voltage Switchgear area at our Berlin location.
The "Power Supply Systems" team is responsible for the maintenance and modernization of power supply and auxiliary systems in the substations of the Berlin distribution network. A special focus is on assessing the condition of batteries and rectifiers to ensure the self-supply of the substations.
Here's what you'll be doing: – You'll set the technical requirements for the commissioning of battery and rectifier systems and be responsible for their implementation – You'll create evaluations and analyses of disturbances in power supply systems and develop recommendations for action – You'll coordinate technical matters with other departments and follow up on changes, damages, or technical challenges – You'll describe the content and scope of maintenance measures
Your other tasks include: – Leading sub-projects in the context of conversion and new construction projects, as well as initiating special measures – Commissioning and monitoring contract companies – Ensuring compliance with occupational safety and accident prevention regulations in your area of activity
We're looking for someone with: – Completed training as a technician or master in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification – Basic knowledge in the operation and maintenance of batteries and rectifiers in the high-voltage network – A Class B driver's license
Nice to have, but not required: – Knowledge of legal occupational safety and accident prevention regulations – Class C1 driver's license – Proficiency in common Office 365 applications and SAP
