Then join us as soon as possible as an Electrical Technician for Switchgear in the Primary Technology area in Berlin-Tempelhof.

As part of the Primary Technology department, our High Voltage Switchgear team is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of 110 kV switchgear. Ensuring the 24/7 supply security of the entire Berlin metropolitan area, the reliable functionality of high-voltage switchgear is a core component of our substations.

Here's what you'll be doing: – Conducting inspections, maintenance, and repair work on switchgear in the high-voltage network – Handling various media like hydraulic oil, nitrogen, compressed air, and different insulating gases in high-voltage switchgear – Actively participating in the commissioning of switchgear in renovation and new construction projects – Creating technical documentation of the tasks performed in various IT systems

Your other tasks include: – Performing analysis measurements to assess the condition of switchgear – Monitoring and controlling the quality of external company deployments – Addressing and taking measures to resolve disruptions – Adhering to safety and occupational health regulations and acting responsibly

We're looking for someone with: – Completed vocational-technical training in an electrical field – Craftsmanship skills and the willingness to acquire missing knowledge – Strong initiative, independence, commitment, teamwork, and communication skills – Understanding of the interaction between electrical engineering & mechanics – A Class B driver's license

Nice to have, but not required: – Knowledge of high-voltage switchgear and networks – Experience with measurement technologies for diagnosing switchgear
