- Tasks
- In our team, you will handle and oversee timber construction projects focusing on structural planning and develop structural proofs considering recognized technical rules, standards, and building laws
- Additionally, you will develop engineering solutions
- Your tasks include optimizing the design in planning and execution and developing various solution proposals
- With the team's involvement, you are responsible for developing country-specific regulatory requirements for the project and incorporating them into the planning
- You are responsible for organizing and coordinating meetings with internal and external specialists, including taking minutes
- As a timber construction engineer, you take responsibility for project-specific document management
- What we rely on
- Successfully completed studies in timber engineering, successfully completed training as a carpenter, or equivalent training
- Professional experience as a timber construction engineer with solid knowledge of German building law
- Excellent knowledge of fire protection in timber construction
- Very good user knowledge of the MS Office suite, advantageous is the use of CAD Cadwork 3D, Frilo Software, and Dlubal Software
- Good communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and willingness to work outside classic planning structures
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on leadership
- An advantage is further business education
- Authorization to submit structural calculations (specify federal state)
