What you will do with us
Tasks at Geiger
- Creating reports and gathering requirements with the units and departments
- Supporting our Data Stewards in quality improvements, especially in the area of master data
- Community management, cross-departmental exchange with business analysts in the departments
- Support in the area of ETL and creation and standardization of semantic models
- Assisting with the introduction of Microsoft Fabric
- Actively shaping the direction and strategy of the Data Management and Analytics area within the corporate group
What We're Excited About
- Completed studies in mathematics, (business) informatics, economics, or a comparable field
- Initial experience with database queries (SQL), API queries (REST/SOAP), MS PowerBI (or similar tools), and ideally with Microsoft Fabric
- Basic understanding of commercial relationships and business processes
- Initial experience in project management and exploratory data analysis (R, Matlab, Python, or similar) is an advantage
- Analytical, solution-oriented thinking with a strong affinity for numbers and data
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Confident and competent interaction with our units and departments
