Tasks at Geiger

• Lead the accounting team (up to 3 members) both technically and disciplinarily within the commercial department
• Responsible for timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Independently manage your own accounting tasks in daily operations
• Serve as a point of contact within the department for specific technical topics and externally for auditors and tax consultants
• Optimize and further develop accounting processes and internal controls

What We're Excited About

• Completed business studies or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant)
• Several years of experience in accounting with leadership experience
• Solid knowledge of HGB
• Proficient in using ERP systems
• Enjoy motivating and developing employees and fostering a positive team culture
• Strong communication skills and confident demeanor with internal and external stakeholders
• Decisiveness and a sense of responsibility in a dynamic environment
