Tasks at Geiger
- Recording and processing error messages
- Maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production facilities
- Performing electrical and locksmith tasks
- Creating programs (Simatic S7) for programmable logic controllers (PLC) and human-machine interfaces (HMI)
- Creating technical documentation
- Monitoring and documenting all systems and components that require inspection
What We Look Forward To
- Completed technical training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician for automation/operational technology, or similar
- Many years of professional experience
- Strong interest in working in mechanics, electronics, and computer science
- Excellent craftsmanship and technical understanding
- Good knowledge of PLC programming
- Team-oriented, friendly demeanor
- Calmness even in stressful times
- Independent, efficient, and careful work style
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness for further training and education
