Your Responsibilities

For Bergert Infrastruktur GmbH, one of the leading infrastructure service providers in cable line civil engineering and telecommunications construction as well as fiber optic installation, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) FTTx for our location in Wechselburg as soon as possible with the following tasks:

• You are responsible for managing and coordinating fiber optic infrastructure projects
• You ensure successful project execution while adhering to time and budget requirements
• You manage the construction processes of assigned projects, including managing internal/external services and all project participants
• You assist with pre- and post-calculations
• You handle change order management
• You act as an interface and communicate with clients, authorities, as well as internal controlling and accounting
• You participate in construction meetings
• You ensure the occupational safety of internal and external personnel

Your Skills

• You have successfully completed a degree in civil or industrial engineering, a qualification as a construction technician (m/f/d), or an equivalent education (e.g., as a surveying engineer or technician with comparable qualifications)
• You have already gained experience in the proper execution of civil engineering works
• Ideally, you have expertise in construction contract law (especially VOB)
• Ideally, you have already acquired knowledge in the installation of copper and fiber optic cable systems
• You bring basic commercial knowledge for measurement creation and billing
• You have experience in personnel management
• Your work style is characterized by responsibility and structure
• You show negotiation skills in dealing with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
• You are willing to travel and have a valid driver's license
