
Operations Manager (m/f/d) in Waste Management
What you will do with us
Tasks at Geiger
- Managing operations of facilities for treating contaminated mineral waste
- Ensuring proper acceptance, treatment, and removal of waste
- Responsibility for compliance with legal frameworks and guidelines regarding facilities and waste, as well as participating in approval processes
- Continuous value contribution optimization and cost efficiency assurance
- Optimizing and further developing processes to meet high standards
- Communication/management with authorities, landfills, mines
- Leading and developing employees
What We're Looking Forward To
- Completion of vocational training or a degree with a good technical understanding
- Solid knowledge in the waste management sector, ideally also in operations management
- Professional certifications (e.g., EfbV, LAGA PN 98) and knowledge in BImSchG/WHG are advantageous
- Enjoyment in leading and developing employees
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented work style
- Team and interpersonal skills as well as strong communication abilities
- High motivation and willingness to perform
