Details about the role and requirements

Electronics Technician (m/f/d)
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent
Company: Netzgesellschaft Düsseldorf mbH

We're a department that's on the go 24/7 throughout the entire city to maintain or quickly restore energy and water supply. This leads to a variety of tasks from everyday situations. With around 150 employees, we're a well-trained team with many experts who love to share their knowledge and enjoy doing things together in their free time. Where possible, colleagues can also work remotely.

Here's where you put your energy:
– You're responsible for new construction, maintenance, and repair work in the plant area (primary and secondary components)
– You also handle troubleshooting in the plant area, including components like transformers, control technology, EMA/BMA systems, ripple control, voltage regulators, and battery systems
– Your tasks also include electrical installations in explosion-proof gas systems and district heating leak detection, as well as the disposal of electrical components in these areas
– If needed, you also take on repair and assembly work in the cable network and act as the first responder in the mobile troubleshooting service
– Additionally, you're responsible for electrical installation work in the S/G/W/F plant area and in the network

What you bring:
– Your completed vocational training as an electronics technician/mechatronics technician, preferably with knowledge in the field of switchgear, forms the theoretical basis
– You meet the occupational health requirements, especially for G26 - respiratory protection, working under voltage, minor noise disturbance, and weather influences
– You have relevant knowledge of VDE/FNN regulations and BG rules
– You have a Class B driver's license, preferably C1E, or are willing to obtain it
– You're also willing to participate in on-call duty

What you'll like:
– We nurture and develop talent: We're happy to receive your application even if you don't meet all the requirements 100%. Our profile description covers a wide range of skills relevant to the position. We believe that much can still be learned and are happy to support you.
– Full commitment, but with fewer hours: Want to work part-time? Feel free to talk to us, and we'll check the possibility of part-time employment for you.
– Individual development instead of just further training: Want to tackle the future with us? Then we want to accompany you in your development, both professionally and personally! Through our learning platform, you can get input anytime or attend a web training session: conveniently on your smartphone or notebook. In addition to an individual seminar offer, you can round off your development at Stadtwerke Düsseldorf with coaching.
– More than six weeks of vacation: On Rose Monday, the carnival is in full swing in Düsseldorf, and you decide how to spend your day off. Need to take your car to the workshop during the week and don't want to take extra vacation? We give you four hours of compensatory time off every six months.
– Up to three months of additional time off: Want to take a longer trip or need more free time for your kids or parents? With our Flex-Time, you can reduce your working hours by up to 15% for a year, if operationally possible.
– And many more benefits: Tariff-based pay, monetary special benefits, optimal work-life balance, or sports and health offers: Here, you get a full load of benefits.

Are you ready? We look forward to your application!
