Electrician - Cable Network Installations LV/MV (m/f/d)
What you will do with us
Electronics Technician - Cable Network Installations LV/MV (m/f/d)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Company: Netzgesellschaft Düsseldorf mbH
In our diverse department with 60 specialists, we cover a wide range of topics: from closures in the gas and water pipe network to transport measures and innovative, trenchless pipe laying. Our specialized team handles repair work, even on listed lights. Meanwhile, our internal civil engineering team creates construction pits for new connections. With another 40 colleagues in 4 teams, we renew the network substance, assemble cable fittings, and modernize network stations. Our expertise in "live working" promotes process improvements and contributes to technical training.
Here's where you put your energy:
– You take on the independent, responsible, and proper execution of cable installations in networks with voltage levels of 1 kV, 10 kV & 25 kV, including house connections.
– In the cable network, you independently assemble cable fittings using various installation techniques (heat shrink, push-on, casting techniques, etc.) and also use the "live working" method in the 0.4 kV range.
– You carefully document all work and use a tablet, among other things, to enter data into our construction and operations software.
– In all your activities, you consider internal and external occupational safety and environmental requirements.
– You bring your skills through cross-functional deployment in all 3 assembly teams of the "Network Assembly Electricity" group and simultaneously expand your knowledge in the field of network technology.
What you bring:
– You have completed training as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification in the electrical engineering field.
– You also have a strong technical understanding and are familiar with the relevant regulations, guidelines, and laws related to your work area (VDE, BG ETEM, TRGS, etc.).
– Initiative and the ability to act independently and responsibly are second nature to you, as are a customer-friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and confident use of digital devices.
– We also require unrestricted occupational medical suitability for physical work outdoors (G25).
– You have a driver's license: at least Class B, ideally Class C1 (up to 7.5 tons).
What you'll like:
– We nurture and develop talent: We welcome your application even if you don't meet all the requirements 100%. Our profile description covers a wide range of competencies relevant to the position. We believe that much can still be learned and are happy to support you in this.
– Full commitment, but with fewer hours: Want to work part-time? Feel free to talk to us, and we'll check the possibility of part-time employment for you.
– Individual development instead of just further training: Want to tackle the future with us? Then we want to accompany you in your development, both professionally and personally! Through our learning platform, you can get input anytime or attend a web training session: conveniently on your smartphone or notebook. In addition to an individual seminar offer, you can round off your development at Stadtwerke Düsseldorf with coaching.
– More than six weeks of vacation: On Rose Monday, the carnival is in full swing in Düsseldorf, and you decide how to spend your day off. Need to take your car to the workshop during the week and don't want to take extra vacation? We give you four hours of compensatory time off every six months.
– Up to three months of additional time off: Want to take a longer trip or need more free time for your children or parents? With our Flex-Time, you can reduce your working hours by up to 15% for a year, subject to operational feasibility.
– And many more benefits: Tariff-based pay, monetary special benefits, optimal work-life balance, or sports and health offers: Here, you get a full load of benefits.
Are you ready? We look forward to your application!
