Tasks at Geiger
- Independently accepting and declaring waste
- Operating the transfer scale and processing and documenting data
- Carefully handling retention samples, material inspections, and documentation of installation sites
- Complying with and implementing permit requirements as instructed by the landfill manager
- Recording hours, entries in the waste register, maintaining the operations log on the computer
- Communicating with drivers and customers
- Assisting with the maintenance of the leachate system
What We Look Forward To
- Experience as a weighmaster (m/f/d) is desirable
- Willingness to attend an asbestos specialist course
- Basic knowledge of waste law (e.g., KrWAbfG, DepV, PN98)
- Driver's license class B and basic knowledge in operating wheel loaders with attachments, wheeled excavators, bulldozers, and compaction equipment is an advantage
- Ideally, willingness for occasional assembly assignments
- Independent working style and team spirit
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
