Tasks at Geiger

• Leadership responsibility for an accounting team within the financial accounting department
• Responsibility for cash management and rolling liquidity planning
• Independently handling your own accounting in daily business
• Preparing monthly financial statements including reporting (VAT returns, Intrastat, ZM)
• Independently taking on internal projects
• Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Point of contact within the department for specific technical topics

What We Look Forward To

• Successfully completed commercial training with additional qualifications and/or a university degree in accounting/taxation with relevant professional experience (5-10 years)
• Experience in employee management in a corporate environment with multiple subsidiaries
• Solid knowledge of an ERP system (Nevaris preferred)
• Proficient use of standard software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• Industry knowledge in construction and related fields or waste management is an advantage
