Journeyman

Hello, I'm Galip Tosun, a passionate and experienced welder who started his career in 1999 in Yalova, Turkey. My journey in the welding trade began in my hometown Nevşehir, where I gained my first experiences as an apprentice. However, my true expertise developed after my military service in 2001, when I started working in shipyards. There, I was involved in several significant projects, including the construction of the Körfez Bridge and the Sultan Mehmet Fatih Bridge in Istanbul. These experiences not only sharpened my technical skills but also my ability to work in large teams on complex projects. I master versatile welding techniques, including Tozaldı, carbon, and electrode welding, as well as rail automation robot welding. My commitment to continuous learning is highlighted by my recently acquired professional certificate. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to apply and further develop my skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
